Wayne Gretzky Sues Ex-Weight Loss Gum Enterprise Companion For Malicious Prosecution

Wayne Gretzky is suing his former enterprise confederate … alleging the lady filed a meritless lawsuit in the direction of him in 2022 merely to realize a quick payday off him.

The NHL legend filed the swimsuit in Los Angeles County this week — some three years after Veera Mahajan sued him for his alleged place throughout the demise of a weight discount gum enterprise known as “OMG.”

In her ’22 lawsuit, Mahajan talked about she invested throughout the co. after Gretzky had claimed he misplaced 35 kilos in a few weeks from chewing on the product. She claimed Wayne later admitted that he lied regarding the weight discount — and it tanked the biz. She sued for fraud and was looking for unspecified damages.

Gretzky fought the lawsuit and in 2024, she filed to dismiss the case … and the earlier hockey participant claims she wanted to fold on account of the lawsuit was frivolous to begin with.

Gretzky talked about he certainly not lied about shedding the burden — and he contended he was truly not the reason the enterprise failed. He’s alleging Mahajan solely filed the case on account of she assumed Gretzky would settle “for a whole bunch of hundreds to have the ability to stay away from potential unfavorable publicity.”

Now Gretzky is suing her for malicious prosecution … and is asking for unspecified damages.

This isn’t the first time “OMG” has created approved problems for Gretzky … the company’s founder, Steven Sparks, really sued him with associated allegations to Mahajan days sooner than she filed her grievance. That lawsuit stays ongoing.
